The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing, has embarked on his maiden tour of the Naval Headquarters to familiarise himself with the various units, directorates and personnel.
During the tour, the CNS interacted with Officers, Ratings and Defence Civilian Staff at the Headquarters emphasising on the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the Ghana Navy's objectives as well as opportunities for growth.
The CNS also inspected the various facilities at the Naval Headquarters, including the Maritime Operations Centre, Logistics and other Departments.
The tour is part of the CNS's efforts to get acquainted with the Naval Headquarters and its personnel, and to identify areas for improvement.
