The Executive Committee of the Retired Commissioned Officers Association (RCOA), paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing, at the Naval Headquarters on Thursday 12 June 2025.
The team, led by the President of the Association, Brigadier General Samuel Yanyi-Akorful Rtd) congratulated the CNS on his well-deserved appointment and wished him success throughout his tenure.
Brigadier General Yanyi-Akorful (Rtd) highlighted some of the key functions of the Association including the welfare of not only members, but also providing assistance to the general populace in times of natural disaster such as the Akosombo Dam spillage.
On his part, Rear Admiral Bessing expressed his gratitude for the visit and acknowledged the good works ofits members and the society as a whole.
