The Turkish Defence Attaché to Ghana, Colonel Ahmet Pakis, paid an official visit to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing on Thursday, 12 June 2025.
The visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relationships, and to also discuss potential collaborations between Ghana and Turkish Navies.
Colonel Ahmet Pakis thanked the CNS for the reception, noting that the collaboration between them would enhance both their maritime operations, stressing Turkey’s readiness to offer support to Ghana Navy

Rear Admiral Bessing expressed gratitude to Colonel Ahmet Pakis. He looked forward to working with the Turkish Defence Attaché for the fulfilment of future projects.
